At the end of the course in 2022, we challenged everyone to return with a piece of lace created on the theme of ‘Heatwave’. We were delighted that we had 22 entries.
These were displayed during the course and attendees were able to vote in two categories: their overall favourite and the most original idea. The winners of these awards were presented with a voucher to spend with Harlequin Lace Supplies during the sales day.
The winners were Cath Boyle for the overall favourite for her beautiful wave (above) and Sarah Cuthbert for her sunglasses showing the positive and negative sides of heat (below). Congratulations to them both.
